Today is the Day

 Decided last night that today is the day I get my life back. What I mean is I’m going to take the time each day to do what is important to me, for me. For me that means doing those things that keep me healthy and make me happy. One of those things is my health and fitness. 

My plan for next 2 weeks:

Walk/jog every other day

Yoga 2-3 times per week

Strength training 2-3 times per week

This morning I did Yoga 🧘‍♀️ with Adrienne Morning Flow, 20 min. 645 am.

Feels so good. It’s strengthening and stretching all in one. There is no stretch like a yoga stretch.

Tired 😴

 I’m tired of being tired. I say they at least once a day. If I didn’t have to get up at 4 am every day I’d feel better. 

Makes everything more difficult. Most things throughout the day have to be managed according to my energy, which is very low. Have to space out my walks and workouts, cleaning , shopping, and work. I usually fall asleep on the couch every afternoon, whether I ent into work or not. 

As i sit here and add this entry I can hardly keep my eyes open or focused. I just want to sleep. 

Dozed a little. Now what to do with the rest of my day. I’ll go  take Faith for a walk and feed everyone. If it’s warm enough we can get a longer walk in. Later this afternoon I’ll go put her to bed, in her kennel. I don’t like her to be in her kennel so much so I get there as early as I can and get back to put her to bed as late as I can. 

Then I’ll come back home, clean the house and do some laundry. If I have the time or the energy I’ll do a workout- usually the treadmill or the elliptical.

Back to Work After the Strike

 Today will be my first day back to work after the MNA strike. 3 days long. I actually missed only 1 day of work. I did not walk the strike line this year

Busy Day in the Hospital

 September 10,  2022

Very busy day at work today. Had 2 patients with heart failure. One of them also had a heart valve replaced and needs open heart surgery. And one patient who had sky high Blood pressure and kidney problems.

Early Morning 🌸

Back to bed for a while. I was awake for a good 3 hrs during the night. 

Up at 4:30 this morning to have breakfast with my husband and see him off to work at 5:30 am. 

Back to early morning and early evening darkness- winter is coming. The days are getting shorter and winter will be long, cold and dark. 

Back to bed for a little while. I’m working this weekend and need to be well rested to get through it and do a good job. 🌸🌸

Mostly walking, some running. Running at the intersections seems like a good way to start. Short segments sprinkled in. 

I love this weather 🌷🌷🌷Sun is out, sky is blue, birds are singing. Bunnies and squirrels 🐿 looking for food. It’s still pretty wet out from storms the past few days, grass is green and flowers are starting to bloom. We are blessed. It’s all a beautiful gift from or Heavenly Father and Creator.
